CKB Construction We will be taking on 50km throughout May and leaving our limits behind to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis and better access to treatments!

Thanks for the great night at Rick Bronson's The Comic Strip presented by RBC on behalf of YOUCAN Youth Services. This was their 12th annual YOUCAN Comedy Night and CKB picked up this spectacular painting by local artist Lewis Lavoie.

We are seeking Pipelayers for water and sewer construction. This is not a pipefitter or plumbing position.

Position Summary

Reporting to the project Foreman, this position will assist to perform all water and sewer activities in a safe and efficient manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Physically demanding work. Cutting pipe, lowering pipe into trenches and performing manual labour when required
• Assist in aligning pipes during water main and sewer construction
• Load and unload tools, materials and equipment
• Mix, pour and concrete
• Operate industrial equipment and hand tools
• Signal and direct equipment operators

Qualifications Include:
1. Ability to work in all weather conditions
2. 2-5 years’ experience in water main and sewer construction
3. Must have valid CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Confined space monitor/entry and Fall Protection
4. Hard working and positive attitude
5. Preference will be given to candidates with a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
