These three paintings will be part of an art auction held by Learning Beyond Borders, a student run organization at the University of Alberta that supports two primary schools in rural Uganda to ensure students have access to the educational resources they need to succeed.
Money raised will go to supporting the student's education through the purchase of textbooks, sports equipment and other beneficial resources.

Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to paint live at Cafe Linnea during High Tea. Being my first time I was excited and a bit nervous. I felt I wasn't ready for something like this till the last moment. In my studio, I could just be myself, not worrying about the time, the result or even the mess I could make;). But once I was settled into my space and touched the paints it all seemed natural.
We all go through this feeling when we try something new but that shouldn't stop us from trying them out, should it? Thank you 🌻😀 @ Cafe Linnea
