Change for Children Association

We have deployed technology for education in remote classrooms in Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Honduras. Today, students in coastal schools near Livingston, Guatemala have reliable access to educational technology powered by the sun.

Our current initiative in Uganda focuses on inclusive education, mobility support, family livelihoods, and community inclusion. Following the initial assessment and community engagement phase, next steps will focus on caregiver livelihood support, small business development, and the construction of wheelchair-accessible school sanitation facilities to improve dignity, safety, and inclusion for children with disabilities.

For 50 years, Change for Children has been driven by people willing to lend their time, skills, perspectives, and care in support of a more just and sustainable world. As we look toward the future, we are inviting new voices to join our Board of Directors.

We are seeking individuals who believe in community-led development, meaningful partnerships, and global citizenship, and who are excited to help guide the next chapter of our work.
