Surreal Cyrenity

I had painted this little raven to complement the dove a while back, a tad late. Regardless, I had fun exaggerating the colours found on the oil like feathers. This painting was kept at a 40 minute time limit with a flat edge brush.

A few months back and I had fun decorating a pizza oven with the iconic colosseum! Inspired by classic paintings of the ruins, we incorporated orange to match the building it belongs to.

I'll be painting for the art battle event hosted at the Pearl showroom, casino Yellowhead on April 5th. Come enjoy some music, painting, and drinks while I work on something chaotic or fantastic. Only time will tell.

We wanted to capture the bright and exciting landscape of Alberta featuring spirit island and the sprawling prairies. As is tradition, it rained on and off all day while we did our live painting.
