It’s Mental Health Week with this year’s theme being, Come Together Canada.

In any given year, 1 in 5 people in Canada will personally experience a mental health problem or illness. ASEBP’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is here for you and your family to lean on.

Your EFAP hours reset every January 1 and you and each of your dependants receive:

✅4 free hours of individual counselling per year per individual
✅4 free hours of couples or family counselling per year
✅Children’s mental health counselling to help 4 to 17 years olds build stronger emotional regulation abilities through an at-home, play-based program
✅Indigenous mental health support for individual, family, and groups with at least one member who self-identifies as Indigenous
✅Digital Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) that’s available anytime anywhere and uses interactive learning modules, tools, and coaching to develop positive coping strategies

To register and learn more about EFAP, visit asebp.ca/efap.

If you haven’t done so yet, register for EFAP today by using your ASEBP ID (found on your ID card in My ASEBP app) and your employer’s organization code. If you are unsure of your code, call 1-888-525-7587 or email ASEBP and we will send it to you.
