A LITTLE SOMETHING FROM ME ABOUT FLASH TUESDAY…

When we started this journey back in 2017, one of the things I quickly learned was just how much creativity lives inside a tattoo artist.
Sometimes, as clients, we come in with our own idea—and that’s amazing.
But sometimes… you just need to let an artist create.

That’s honestly one of the reasons I love Flash Tuesday so much.
Every week, I get to watch the artists here at Canadian Ink Studios come up with new designs. Their ideas. Their weirdness. Their passion. Their individual styles.
And I’m always amazed at how different every artist is. 🖤
I really want people to understand something…

Pay attention to the artist’s style.

If you keep looking at one artist’s work and thinking, “Damn… I love how they create,” maybe that’s the artist you need to sit down with.
Book a virtual consultation.
Tell them your idea.
Tell them your story.
And then give them the opportunity to create something with you.

Over the years, I’ve watched thousands of people walk through our doors. I’ve heard the stories behind tattoos. I’ve seen people laugh, cry, remember someone they’ve lost, celebrate new chapters and sometimes just get something because it made them smile.
That’s the part of this business I’ll never get tired of.
It’s the people. It’s the stories. And it’s watching our artists turn those stories into art. 🖤
