Our team at Banff Mineral Springs Hospital is showing off their display for Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

This week we welcomed CTV and Global News to the Grey Nuns Hospital to shine a light on the music therapy program in the NICU.

For families in the NICU, every day holds uncertainty. Music therapy offers a chance to connect, soothe and be present with their baby.

We are grateful to the media for helping share these stories, and to the families who opened their hearts so others can understand the difference compassionate care makes.

Although the music therapy program has now ended, the site is hoping to keep it going with additional funding from donations made through the Covenant Foundation.

A day of learning, connection and celebration.

This week, staff, volunteers and community members came together for an Indigenous Health Education Day at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital.

Through storytelling, music, dance, land-based learning and cultural teachings, participants had the opportunity to learn from First Nations, Métis and Inuit knowledge keepers, artists and educators.

From hoop dancing and fiddle music to throat singing and Indigenous games, the day created space for meaningful conversations, reflection and shared learning.

Throughout National Indigenous History Month, we'll be sharing highlights from the day's sessions and the individuals who generously shared their knowledge, stories and experiences.
