I must say after 28 years doing refractory on so many units with Phoenix this steam engine boiler is top of my list of most rewarding. Phoenix proudly donated the project costs to be apart of this steam engine’s history. This engine is a movie star appearing in The Assassination of Jesse James: Death of an Outlaw (Video 2008) with Brad Pitt and a recent Hallmark movie. Big Star!

For 29 years we've been working on this marine boiler from a battleship that was in service during the war. Proper maintenance every couple years keeps these units running a long long time! This customer does it right!
