This Spring, I will be coming up to 10 years in business. A decade of growing, evolving and utter dedication to this craft and practice.

Over the course of a decade, my practice, knowledge, and relationship with plants has deepened alongside my transition from maiden to mother.

6 years ago, I had an active clinical practice that I closed the door on when I became pregnant with my first daughter. I focused on nourishing my roots at home- literally + figuratively. We transformed our living space into a full blown apothecary, including growing our own botanicals in our own backyard. It gave me the opportunity to quiet my 'clinical' mind and come into an embodied relationship with plants.

To be honest, when I made the switch from the 'hustle' to home, I intended on this business just being a small side hustle to give me a creative outlet during early motherhood.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine what would happen next.

That I would create a multi-six company, from home, with babies on my back. The pandemic, as challenging as it was, actually grew my business exponentially as folks shifted their priorities to what really matters- our health, supporting small businesses, and our communities at large. We outgrew our space quickly, and partnered with a local warehouse to support us with storage and order packing and delivery. I brought on in home support. The Wild Roses Festival was born, unexpectedly in the height of all of this, inevitably creating another full time job on top of my already blossoming brand and of course, parenting toddlers.

I navigated lawsuits, a rebrand, and many pivots along the way - and while it as an incredibly challenging time, I am grateful.

In 2023, I found myself navigating heartbreak (in many ways) that allowed space to actually rest, reflect and integrate. To be with what is- and to sit with my purpose, intent and desire.

And what I crave the most is simplicity, creativity and joy. And in that, comes the need to surrender so much of what is no longer in alignment or relevant to my path now and an invitation to move forward in a new way.
