Sometimes work is great.

Sometimes I need to work through triggering clear outs that leaves me feeling all sorts of emotions that takes me days to overcome.

As someone who is in recovery (10 years from my DOC), this one was really hard. It took a long time, I had to take breaks to breathe through the triggers, but! Everything is sanitized, cleaned, drug free.

I feel bad for those who lived like this for less than a week. I feel for those struggling.

I feel safe knowing that who comes in next won’t have to worry because I poured every ounce of knowledge I have gained throughout my years to ensure that not a single trace was left behind.

This is the reality of my job, of other cleaners. A lot of us face the same struggles. We overcome. We fight. We make sure people can come in and feel safe.

This is also a large reason behind why our prices are what they are.
