She's just over a month old
My son sees her as a future recip cow for his Angus program, but I'm not so sure she isn't a Matron Cow Candidate for my forage fed herd

When I picked out my initial bred heifers back in 2015, I was looking for cattle that would be a joy to have. I selected 4 that I thought would be maternal, feed efficient, docile, sound and have excellent longevity and fertility.
This gal in the front is one of them, at 12 she catches first try every year and she is raising a Charolais sired heifer calf and gaining condition while she does it. She's sweet and friendly and always up for scratches.
I love my cows! The biggest little cows you'll ever see. They're no messing around, all body and no wasted leg.
