In Nashville for a show with Dusty Slay at Zanies Comedy Club and I couldn’t think of a better topic than one of my all-time favorite foods: Nashville Hot Chicken.
Bonus fun fact: in Nashville it’s traditionally served as fried chicken on white bread with pickles. Most places outside the city turn it into a sandwich.
Also, it’s not a sauce, but cayenne pepper and other dry spices mixed with oil and brushed or dipped.
Locals debate who has the best…so far I’ve had Prince’s, Hattie B’s and Bolton’s. What’s your favorite?
We had a killer show in Woodstock, Ontario. It was my first show in the city and it sold out faster than any other show the nice lady in the box office could remember. So thanks to the fine people of Woodstock for a great night!

I had awesome week visiting Detroit, Fort Wayne and Chicago on my way back from Canada.
First was Detroit, where I did a spot at the House of Comedy and then got some Detroit style pizza, saw Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti walk up window restaurant, and watched a Detroit Tiger’s game.
Then on to Fort Wayne for a spot at the Summit City Comedy Club. Huge thanks to them for having me on last minute.
Next was the Chicago area where ZANIES Rosemont was kind enough to give me a spot on a show with Mike Vecchione. All of the ZANIES clubs are some of the best in the world. Thanks to for the photo.
Lastly, I was fortunate enough to work with the legendary Henry Phillips, one of my favorite comedians. He’s every bit as friendly and welcoming as he is funny. It was also an opportunity to work with the very funny Brian Hicks…who helped convince me to do Karaoke for the first time ever. Big shoutout to Danny’s Pub & Grill who were incredible hosts!
All in all, a killer week!
