Flew my UMX Turbo Timber and UMX J-3 Cub this morning at field. Beautiful sunny day and green grass. But wind was so strong and gusty they could barely fly up wind! Even with CG pushed forward with battery. See photo.
Anyone up for opening our field real soon? If so what dates would work for you?
Also I procured a long step ladder and could use a bit of a rescue team to try and poke my airplane out of a tree from last year if anyone is willing to help. Kind of a two man operation.

Reminder from Paul
Just a reminder guys that there is fabulous cheap indoor flying every week at Marden Track on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 4pm (Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Centre) just west of highway 6 on Marden Road on north side roughly a km from intersection. I think it is only a few bucks this year. Get those UMX models out and batteries charged! Keep those thumbs and fingers in shape!
