We’re currently looking for a reliable handyman/women for casual, as-needed work.

Tasks may include:
• Small repairs and maintenance
• Minor building projects
• Outdoor upkeep and general fixes within (indoor our outdoor)

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Dependable and takes pride in their work
• Experienced with basic tools and repairs
• Able to work independently

Hours will be flexible based on needs of whenever something needs done

🎓✨ Preschool Graduation Shoutout! ✨🎓

Today, we send off some very special little ones as they graduate from preschool and head off to big kid school! 💛📚

To our amazing graduates:
You’ve filled our classrooms with joy, laughter, and learning, and we are so proud of how far you’ve come. It’s been an absolute honour watching you grow, explore, and blossom into the bright little stars you are. 🌟

While we’re sad to see you go, we’re excited for all the new adventures that await you in kindergarten. Keep being kind, stay curious, and always believe in yourselves—you are ready! 💪🍎

Sharing important information with everyone this evening

I have seen this so much lately with the cold weather so here is my PSA:

Thick coats, sweaters, etc. can add compressible volume to your child that prevents you from getting a highly important snug fit on the straps. I know it’s cold and we all want our babies to be comfortable.
You can have them wear their coat to and from the car, just take it off in the car.
You can have a blanket or even use their coat as a blanket to place on top of them once they are buckled.
We have a “car blanket” that just stays in there to cover up with on cold days.
You can let the car heat up a few minutes prior to leaving.
The point is, a few seconds in the cold is far less harmful than a coat in a car seat. I know taking it on and off add extra work for you as the parent but I promise these extra steps are so worth it.

Adding info as people have commented to address misconceptions:

Being in the cold does NOT make you sick. You can only catch a cold of virus by airborne droplets.

You cannot adjust the straps based off of the coat and ensure a secure buckle for your child. In a crash the coat will compress and the straps will be too loose in the car seat and will not keep your child secure in their car seat.

I am not sharing this to shame anyone, just to help educate and inform because car seat safety is SO important!
