I love Women in and on the cusp of their 40s.
I am in mine, and there is a well within us that stirs hot - some call it perimenopause, a crisis?

I don’t see that; i see a powerful heat and grit of knowing, of truth on a whole other level, that we have earned through our blood, fears and our grief. It’s like we are handed a box; full of symptoms/full of codes for our vitality and potency.

I would not expect a Woman in her late 20s early 30s to support me in this heat, in this stirring, just like I can’t quite touch the understanding of a Woman in her 60s/70s experience. You have to spiral walk it to know it, and if you know it, you can see it in another with resonance, reverence and the clarity of your own ashes. I have doulaed Women in birth, mothering, breastfeeding, homeschooling, muse, art…all while being in or just a few steps further down on the path -

A true, full and embodied Voice is an undeniable force and unevitable bridge to cross, for a Woman choosing her box of codes🔥

A Voice so anchored you can feel it inside of her gaze; unforced, she doesn’t even try, she has nothing to prove, what freedom.

Keep at it until your whole body believes and trusts your full and true Voice fully; like the voice of your own mother when you were inside of her womb - replace every other voice in your life that has ever tried (and succeeded) to take its place. It takes time, and grace - it takes devotion, practice and support, permission, possibility, proof, from Women who have done it.
