Tweedside Road

Some might look at my dining table and think that needs to be tidied. (Most of my house needs to be tidied 😊)

I was sitting here this morning and thought, that’s a snapshot of my life!

-a little cauldron that’s great for keeping bugs away when I burn some resin on a charcoal disk in it.
-a couple of thermacells that also keep the bugs away when we are sitting on the deck.
-a bag of dog treats for my little loves.
-Venus flytraps and air plants soaking up the morning sun light.
-pencils and paint brushes wait for me on my window sill.
-a stunning malachite chrysocolla specimen that told me to bring it home.
-a pretty lantern that was slightly imperfect from the shop.
-pewter candlesticks that were a wedding gift from a dear friend who is no longer on this realm.
-a fox statue - because I love foxes
-a retail magazine, business check-book and a genealogy binder my dear aunt researched and put together.
-up on the shelf are found feathers from my walks and an antique bottle I adore.
-and a phone charger because I spend too much time on my phone.

Ultimately I prefer a space that represents a person, their interests and their life. My hubby would prefer less stuff for sure.
