Community Futures Boundary
Community Futures Boundary is a small business development not for profit. We offer business loans, business coaching and are a WorkBC service provider.
Last week we had the opportunity to attend the Keeping It Rural Conference in Kelowna—what an inspiring few days connecting with others who are passionate about supporting and growing rural communities across BC.
From conversations on economic development to innovation, housing, and agriculture, it was a great reminder of how much collaboration and creativity is happening in our rural regions.
A big thank you to the incredible presenters who shared their knowledge and experience, including Chief Clarence Louie, Dr. Farhad Moghimehfar, and Dallas Arcand, along with many other panelists and speakers who brought valuable perspectives on building strong, resilient communities. We're coming back energized with new ideas, connections, and inspiration that I’m excited to bring into my work here at Community Futures Boundary.
A great summary of what we do in rural BC, and why we do it!
Thanks Steve Morissette MLA for Kootenay-Monashee. And a great shout out to all the volunteer Board of Directors that donate their time to keep us going!
