Hello my beautiful people!

I know, I know, I’ve been MIA for more than awhile and an explanation is long overdue.

Let me start off at the very beginning. When I created the Slaende Botanix brand at the end of 2020, I was more than ready to launch and excited beyond imagination. Like every new company, growing pains and learning curves quickly surfaced but I was quick to overcome those obstacles. However, I was struggling to balance the trials of a new business venture and the loss of several of my family members and friends just weeks after the initial launch.

For months, I focused diligently on my day-time career and Slaende Botanix, despite COVID-19 hitting Canada hard. I won’t get into the nitty-gritty of that topic, but it affected every aspect of the economy and workforce. As such, some of my distributors went out of business and restrictions led to raw product becoming undeliverable. Other obstacles arose with many companies moving to digital platforms for convenience and thus with their business changes it affected our media streams, website, etc.

As you may have read in previous posts, I left my day-time career to focus on my family and most importantly, myself. I then had an injury and I extended my time off to recover, all while trying to buy an acreage and pack our home. We did not get our acreage, but we did find the perfect fixer-upper! We moved in on the Halloween weekend of 2021 and again, time was needed to do some renovations.

So, here we are today. In my time off, I have found new distributors and new technology to get the company running smoothly and platforms that are much more user friendly. Over the next few weeks, you will see changes to the Slaende Botanix branding and the new website will be launched!

Slaende Botanix has been a little busy under the radar and has donated product to the U13AA Classic Hockey Tournament swag bags. I will also be set-up for our very first in-person shopping experience at the Valentine’s Day Shop Local Market at the Podollan Inn & Spa on February 12, 2022!

I am excited to get back to creating and producing for my wonderful customers! I want to thank you all again for your patience and understanding.
