After an incredible 53-year connection to our organization, Chris Turnmire retired from his role as Board Chair at our Annual General Meeting on June 16.
Chris first joined our organization in 1973 as our very first Executive Director and continued to support our mission throughout his career and retirement, including 19 years of service on our Board.
To honour his decades of dedication, leadership, and commitment, we are proud to name our boardroom in his honour.
