Cleaning off this sign. Simple moment.

And yet…not!!

These simple moments, little things, that suddenly become a monumental moment of grief. Like a wave that crashes into you, without warning, and suck you under. Fill my eyes with tears, and cause my heart to tighten. Just a little.

AND

Fill my heart with joy, at the realization that a customer has turned into a friend. At the letting go of so much, to make room for what is next. Like the cleaning of this sign…a new slate is ready to be filled!!
