The Centre Stage

After a family, fun filled weekend I have some time now to sit and reflect on all the things I am thankful for. The list is long and I am truly blessed, life is pretty fantastic😍

I am listening to the song of bumblebees.

I was just walking around the property I manage, opening up the buildings and preparing for my usual jobs. Mowing lawns, pool maintenance, eaves cleaning etc. Opening the property for the summer season, when I went to unlock a door and I heard a choral humming. Obviously I first thought this was someone singing to me in my head, but it stopped suddenly, and then started again with one chord only. With different tones joining in. I looked up and saw little pudgy, black and yellow fuzzy balls flying from blossom to blossom of a white lavender tree. Can you blame them, I stand under these trees every day and breathe in their heavenly scent.

So here I am, sitting on the stoop, listening. I have never noticed they buzz at different tones. It is seriously like a heavenly chorus. And really, why wouldn't it be? These creatures are divine gifts, keeping flowers and trees blooming and growing, bring us honey, one of those superfoods provided by the earth herself. These little furry, technically shouldn't be able to fly insects, are proof magic exists. To me, anyways. The magic of nature, mother earth, the divine, whatever it is you believe. These tiny little miracles show us how to just keep going, doing our thing, and the rewards are there. Whatever your honey is for you, whatever the impossible hill you're climbing is, just be like the bumblebee. Sing your song, and let others sing with you, and watch the magic happen.

Take time to sit outside, the music nature creates is wondrous. 💜
