🌺 We decided winter has gone on long enough… so we brought the sunshine inside. ☀️

Last week we hosted a Luau Potluck to officially “beat the winter blues” — and the team delivered. From tropical dishes to comfort food favourites, there was no shortage of great food (or second helpings).

It was a fun reminder that sometimes all you need is good people, good laughs, and a reason to step away from your desk for a bit.

Team-Building Through Innovation 🥚

Last week our team took part in the Egg Catch Challenge—a hands-on competition designed to test creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.

Using only a limited set of materials, teams had 30 minutes to design and build a contraption capable of catching an egg dropped from 3.35 meters. Thanks to the ingenuity of one of our team members, the challenge was elevated (literally!) with a custom-built electro-mechanical egg dropper complete with laser targeting and a radio transceiver toggle switch.

The results? Every team engineered a successful design—not a single egg broke! To settle the tie, we went back to basics with an old-school egg toss competition, where teamwork, strategy, and a steady hand made all the difference.

This challenge was a great reminder that when innovation and collaboration meet, even the toughest challenges can land safely.
