LTA proudly stands in support of Red Dress Day, honoring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S+).

The red dress serves as a powerful symbol of those who are missing and the lives that have been taken too soon. We wear red to raise awareness, to remember, and to reaffirm our commitment to listening, learning, and taking action alongside Indigenous communities.

Today in class we talk about our love for our mothers, aunts, grandmothers, sisters, and friends. We talk about how to help others in our community.

This is a lovely end to a crazy week! We cannot be happier to have such wonderful families and educators that support what we do!

LTA will be collecting donations for the Women in Crisis Centre in Guelph this year. Please drop off items from the list below to LTA from November 12, 2025 - December 19th, 2025.

Today, our staff and students wear red and black in honour of those who fought for our country. We take a moment to reflect on the sacrifice they made for our safety and security.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
