An overdue congratulations to The Narrows Public House on their placing 12th on the Canada's 100 Best Restaurants Best Bars list — it's one of my favourites any day, any season. It might be on the best bars list, but I think you'd have a mighty hard time finding many bars on that list with a a menu, and food, as spot on as what's served in that pub. Fav dishes: chopped hamburger and fried onion sandwich, devilled eggs, chopped salad, and any form of "hash" that might be on. You do a fine job making people feel cozy.
