We spent the day with the team at Impossible Metals as they tested groundbreaking technology right here in Halifax.

Four miles beneath the ocean surface, critical metals like nickel, cobalt, and copper are essential to powering the global energy transition. The challenge is how to access them responsibly.

What we saw was a new approach. Autonomous robotics & artificial intelligence. A system designed to identify and avoid marine life while operating in one of the most extreme environments on Earth.
This is where innovation meets responsibility and where the future of resource exploration is being redefined.

We had the pleasure of collaborating on an exciting project with a future NHL star and 2026 draft prospect.

Spending the day with him and his family was truly inspiring. He’s competitive, motivated, disciplined, and fully dedicated to his craft.

Getting back on the ice was a thrill, not only skating alongside him, but capturing his skill and story on film.
