SUMMER CLOSURE!

Bramble Cafe will be taking a week break starting Monday, June 29th. Come grab the last Boston Cream donuts of the year 😯 this weekend.

We’ll be back in action Monday, July 6th.

Bramble is hiring a baker!

If you love working with your hands, can manage multiple timers and alarms going off whist balancing trays of hot glazed donuts, yelling ‘behind!’, and dumping ice in the mixer so our dough doesn’t overheat and get too sticky, everything is sticky, all the time. (That math you didn’t think you needed in grade school, you’ll need to know how to do it here, while sticky.)

In all seriousness, baking can be a little thankless (and hot) sometimes but those of us who are obsessed thrive off the organized chaos. If this excites you in all the right ways, reach!

You will also be responsible for ensuring daily tasks such as organizing, stocking, and cleaning, are complete. An experienced candidate is preferred but we can train any hardworking individual. We will also sprinkle in some basic tasks essential to our cafe operations.

Our offer:
- 30-40 hours per week
- two days off in a row, at minimum

You have:
- a proactive approach to teamwork
- an quick eye for detail
- a need to keep a clean and organized space
- the capability to lift up to 30kg
- the capability to lift above your head
- the ability to work in tight spaces (bend, squat, twist, and manoeuvre) in our smol bakery with the rest of the crew
- weekend availability

Bonus points if you have a car and are willing to make some treat deliveries.
