🥳 CRUF is one of the recipients of the MacGillivray Journeys Grant this year!!! Thank you to everyone who voted, we’re so grateful for the support and can’t wait to put this funding toward another great season.

We are pleased to announce the recipients of the MacGillivray Law Journeys Grant!
Big Brothers Big Sisters in Atlantic Canada, Common Roots Urban Farm, Lung Association of Nova Scotia & PEI, and Action Ministries of Grand Manan were selected by the community through our voting process.
Thank you to all organizations that applied to the Journeys Grant Program and everyone who took the time to vote. We look forward to seeing the great work these organizations will continue to do in Atlantic Canada.

After many conversations (and commutes across the harbour 🚲), your friendly neighbourhood Farm Coordinators have decided to switch farm sites this season so we can each work closer to home.

Hillary will be heading to the BiHi farm, and Nicola will be moving over to the Woodside site in Dartmouth. 🌱

We’ll miss our beloved gardens and communities, but we’re also excited to grow with new people and places, and grateful to be part of a community that stretches across both farms.

You’ll still see us around both sites this season as we help each other settle in.

With just one day left to vote, it’s been an honour to be shortlisted for MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law Journeys grant alongside some amazing organizations doing important work across the region.
