It's been a bit since I've posted as I've been busy settling in at NBF but I wanted to share an event I'm taking part in. As many of you know, Debbie (my mother and the founder of our practice) passed away from cancer in 2018. I have been participating in The Big Ride ever since, a GIVETOLIVE event that raises funds while cycling across various areas of the country.
This year we are a little closer to home, cycling 200kms, and mountain hiking another 12kms, to raise funds for the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute at Dalhousie University. Looking to physically challenge yourself & give back this year? Many of you who know me know that I have been involved with GIVETOLIVE for a number of years, participating in events to raise money for various charities. Giving back is very important to me and investing in our health is the best thing we can do for ourselves.
