33 years ago today I was sworn-in as Alderman for Ward 7 in Halifax. Here’s something you may not have known. I had shoulder surgery the week previous, and came from the hospital directly to City Hall for the ceremony.

This Saturday night, November 2nd, your Spryfield Attack Junior Hockey Club hosts Sackville Knights at 8:00. We are first and second in the standings, so this has all the makings of a very entertaining game. We won the first game against Sackville this season, by a 3-2 margin. This will also be a very close game. Admission is $5.00, with children under 10 admitted free of charge. Wee hope to see you there.
