Here is part two of three in my throwback mini-series from my trip to Rome in 2019. It’s hard to believe these photos were taken nearly seven years ago, when I was still learning the ins and outs of my camera and how to compose a photo. The iconic architecture, mixed with sunny skies, made for an excellent classroom while being immersed in Rome’s deep history and delicious food (I quite literally had pizza for lunch and dinner every day I was there!). Everywhere you turned was a historic building, a detailed statue, or a breathtaking landmark, offering plenty of photo opportunities to explore and learn from.

To kick off a throw back mini-series, here is the first of three waves of photos from my trip to Rome, Italy back in 2019. I was 15 when I took these photos and was in my second year of using a DSLR camera. I remember Rome was like a photographer’s playground, with stunning landscapes, historic buildings, and history to take photos of around literally every corner. Certainly a bucket list place to visit and I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to be there and take a bunch of photos.
