Excellence in Product Design — Graham Blair Woodcuts (NL)
A multidisciplinary designer, Graham Blair’s work bridges craft, illustration, and cultural storytelling. He has contributed design and layout to major heritage publications documenting traditional knowledge.
His practice emphasizes clarity, narrative, and a strong visual language rooted in Newfoundland and Labrador. Blair’s work plays a key role in preserving and communicating regional craft histories.
Outstanding Retailer — Alexis Templeton Studio & Shop (NL)
A leader in Newfoundland and Labrador’s craft retail sector, Templeton is connected to a legacy of craft advocacy and community development. This lineage has historically supported makers through skills development and income generation initiatives.
Her retail approach prioritizes locally made work and the sustainability of the craft sector. Through curatorial retail practices, she strengthens visibility and market access for regional artisans.
Industry Leader/Supporter — PEI Crafts Council
A central organization advancing craft in Prince Edward Island, supporting makers through exhibitions, trade opportunities, and advocacy. The Council facilitates platforms such as provincial showcases and participation in major industry events.
Its work strengthens professional development and market reach for Island artisans. Through sustained leadership, it contributes to the growth and recognition of Atlantic Canadian craft nationally.

We want to give a massive congratulations to the artists showing their work in the exhibit The Power of Objects: Voices of Contemporary Craft, curated by Bruno Vinhas ( ). This exhibition explores how handcrafted objects carry memory, identity, resistance and transformation within global craft dialogues.
