✨ Income Assistance payments are going up by 1.6% in 2026.
That’s the second year in a row they’re tied to inflation. Not a windfall—but it is movement.

✨ Disability Support Program (DSP)
If you receive the standard household rate, you’ll also see the same 1.6% increase.

📊 The bigger picture (as of Dec 1, 2025):
• 38,558 people were receiving Employment Support & Income Assistance
• 14,039 of them received the disability supplement
• About 3,600 people were on DSP at the standard household rate
