Finally unpacked some of my treasures! While I was in Galway, I stumbled upon a market filled with pottery and ceramics, and there was absolutely no way I was leaving these two pieces created by A Piece Of Ireland Galway behind—they HAD to come home with me!
The labyrinth piece, of course, commemorates my very first labyrinth walk at the retreat. It serves as a beautiful reminder of how much my life has changed and how far I’ve come through all the hard work, healing, and growth I’ve accomplished.
The bee bowl holds a completely different, but equally special, memory. My retreat sisters and I had the incredible privilege of witnessing one of the most amazing and majestic displays of nature I have ever seen. We had just finished a ceremony outside when we heard a loud humming in the distance. It grew louder and louder—almost like a train approaching. At first, we couldn’t see anything, and then suddenly, thousands upon thousands of bees flew overhead.
Unfortunately, a few of the women were allergic, so we had to move inside. But wow, what an experience! I wish I had been able to capture the entire thing on video because I have never seen anything like it in my life. Part of me wanted to lie down in the grass and simply watch them pass overhead. Later, we learned that they were migrating, and during migration they are so focused on their journey that they are generally harmless. The video I managed to get was only toward the end, from inside—but the memory will stay with me forever.

I have to say, whoever came up with the advertising concept for this is a genius! I’ve always been a fan of the Frank products at Canadian Tire, especially the cute illustrations on the packaging. Taking that familiar character and incorporating it into these new travel snacks through the partnership with WestJet is such a great idea. It genuinely brought a smile to my face when I saw them.

A huge shoutout to Sean at INKFINGERS CUSTOM TATTOO STUDIO in Galway for helping me commemorate my first solo trip overseas to Ireland. This tattoo represents my love for the country, the incredible memories I made along the way, and the hope that I’ll always carry a little bit of Irish luck with me wherever I go.

Traveling fuels my soul, but family and friends are where my heart belongs. Can't wait to be home soon.

Back on Canadian soil. Of course I had to come and get a delicious Lobster Roll from The Firkin & Flyer. Just as good as I remember from last time I was here!! 🦞

Check in to my last hotel room before heading home tomorrow. As sad as I am to be leaving this beautiful place, I’m looking forward to being back home with my Family and Friends 💕
