Craig Cassar has been endorsed by the Hamilton District Labour Council, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 107, CUPE 5167, (Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation) OSSTF District 21 and ACORN Hamilton, the tenants' rights union. A longtime resident of Ancaster, Craig has been an active community member with a passion for climate action. He is a co-founder of Save Our Streams Hamilton. He has also volunteered extensively with Stop Sprawl Hamilton, Community Fridges HamOnt, The Ancaster Community Food Drive, David Suzuki Foundation, The Royal Botanical Gardens and the Hamilton Naturalist Club, and is a board member of Dontgetlost Adventure Running which offers orienteering and fitness programs for youth in the city. Craig would do well continuing his community service as Councillor for Ward 12.

Scott Duvall has been endorsed by the Hamilton District Labour, CUPE 5167, United Steelworkers of American 1005. He is a giant in local labour circles.

Former MP Duvall has had the distinction of serving as past Steelworkers Union president, Member of Parliament for Hamilton Mountain and previously as a city councillor. He has advocated publically for decades for workers’ rights.

Scott pushed for pension reform, anti-scab legislation, living and fair wages, and support for small businesses. He is frequently seen at labour protests and events, and has tirelessly supported progressive causes across the city. Scott is an outspoken and vocal voice for change and work-focused policy.

Scott brings a healthy mix of experience, change and pro-worker prospectives and will be a tireless advocate as city councillor for Hamilton’s working class.
