When the area of skin is properly shaved and the hair is in the right growth phase, the laser is able to focus on the darker pigment (hair) and stop its cycle. It is really important to make sure you are attending your laser hair removal appointments every 4-6 weeks. The reason for this is because our hair grows in cycles and ONLY when the hair is in the catagen stage is when the hair follicle can be killed.
