Here’s a closer look at Node Atlas.
Fusion is the geometric ex*****on layer. Node Atlas is the design logic layer.
It maps the relationships between parameters, sketches, features, bodies, and components into a live interactive graph, making complex models easier to understand, navigate, and modify.
Version 1.1.0 is being .pkgd for launch.
Node Atlas turns the inside of an model into a live dependency graph, exposing the relationships between parameters, sketches, features, construction geometry, bodies, and assemblies. Instead of digging through timelines and browser trees, we clearly see how the design functions, and what it consists of.
New in v1.1.0:
• Edit feature parameters directly from the graph
• Inspect and modify extrudes, revolves, fillets, chamfers, shells, sweeps, and holes
• Upstream and downstream dependency tracing
• Saved views, filters, and manual relationship mapping
Introducing Script Nodes
Any parametric Fusion design can now be packaged as a reusable module.
Package a design once.
Share it as a ZIP.
Import it anywhere.
Configure parameters.
Execute.
Node Atlas inserts the geometry as a named component and restores live parameter control immediately.
Open a previously executed Script Node and Node Atlas automatically brings it into the semi-lattice structure, restoring real-time editing without re-importing or rebuilding anything.
The goal has always been simple:
Make design intent visible.
Make parametric systems reusable.
Make complex models understandable.
We’re getting closer.

Node Atlas has been Approved for Autodesk Fusion Add-in Market Place! 🚨🔔
Working away at turning the 0.9.0 Beta into the 1.0.0 release! Feature possibilities have emerged for later integration and as always, we approach that bottom up.
Attendees of my Electric Guitar Design course this summer will receive the updated version before we start our session!
There are a few seats left, if you are interested in not only how designs function, but what they consist of, sign up and let’s talk about it.
More details pending release on the entirety of this project, this is just a node in an ambitious project.

“…based on the assumption that physical clarity cannot be achieved in a form until there is first some programmatic clarity in the designers mind and actions;
and that for this to be possible, in turn, the designer must first trace his design problem to its earliest functional origins and be able to find some sort of pattern in them.
I shall try to outline a general way of stating design problems which draws attention to these functional origins, and makes their pattern reasonably easy to see.”
