We would like to thank Rosedale Tennis Club for their generous donation to the Eva Rothwell Centre that was raised during their annual tennis tournament. They also held a food drive and collected lots of items to support of our Community Pantry!

A special thank you to Ormond Family for organizing this event, all the volunteers who made it happen, and Banyan Community Services. We appreciate your continued dedication to this community ❤️

Here at the Eva Rothwell Centre we strive to provide safe and inclusive programming year round, where children and youth are free to be their most authentic selves.

This includes our QWEER Space (Q***r Welcoming Evenings at Eva Rothwell), which is a comfortable & welcoming space for youth ages 9-18 that runs during our After School Program. You do not need to identify as part of the LGBTQ2S+ community to participate in the space, just show up with kindness and respect. and an open mindset!

We would like to give a big thank you to our guest speakers who joined us this month to help celebrate Pride month! They ran some very cool workshops, including making comic strips, poems, watercolour paintings, and a collaborative rainbow art piece. It has been so great to see all the creativity shining and how supportive everyone has been of each other ❤️
