The mix for our upcoming, brand new single ‘Bleed What You Give’ is almost done. Jon Howard has been slaving away at it. There have been some key components to mixing the new Imonolith. One of them has been Bogren Digital and their plug-in ‘Amp Knob’. It was Jon’s go to plug-in for helping dial up the guitar sound for our new single.
Jon and Imonolith would like to send HUGE thanks to Bogren Digital for hooking us up with a ton of their product for this new Imonolith release. We love their product and can’t wait for you all to hear the guitar sound in its full glory on our new single. ‘Bleed What You Give’ release date will be announced soon… stay posted 🤘

Five years ago today our debut album “State of Being” was released. This was a Imonolith’s first full album release. The writing for this album started in 2015. and I () we’re still playing in the Devin Townsend Project, but decided to start a side project, knowing that the DTP would eventually break up. In 2018, Beav and I saw that scenario become reality. So we took the music they had written and found for a vocalist, for a second guitarist and rounded everything up with on bass to officially form Imonolith.
From 2015-2018, Beav and I had been writing music for what would eventually become this debut release. Jon contributed some writing as well. This release includes guest appearances from.Jens Kidman () and (). The album itself weaves throughout Rock, Prog and Metal influences. There’s a wide spectrum of sounds on this record, which is what we intended.
The hype leading up to the record and the debut European tour ticket sales did very well for the band until nine days before the release date of the album (March 27th, 2020) and the first show of their European tour….
COVID-19
On the release date, Covid was in full swing worldwide. The debut tour and North American tours would be cancelled along with the many attempts to reschedule them the next few years. Regardless the album still did well for the band and had a lot of positive feedback from our worldwide followers and press.
We are all very proud of how this album turned out. did a phenomenal job in producing, engineering, mixing and mastering this record. It’s all naturally recorded with no samples, auto tuning or plug-ins. Jason sank his heart into this one just like the band did.
Hope you all are still enjoying it as much as we are! Happy 5th Birthday State of Being.
