In late June, staff members Megan Medlock, Murray McCullough and Violet Stafford assisted in delivering equipment to Brake Winders, in Wiarton, ON, as it embarks on its third season offering the Mainsail Program ⛵. This year features exciting upgrades to equipment, including new RS Zests, courtesy of Fogh Marine, and a new coach boat obtained through Ontario Sailing's partnership with C02 Inflatables and Suzuki.
A special shoutout to Peppy (pictured) and his commendable energy and leadership; cheers to three years! ✨

Calling all kayakers, paddleboarders, and boaters! 📣

On Saturday, July 11, the Nepean Sailing Club will once again support the Bushtukah Bring on the Bay Open Water Swim Charity Swim, and we're looking for volunteers to join us on the water. 🏊‍♂️

With an anticipated 1,200 swimmers taking part, volunteers will play a vital role in helping ensure a safe, successful, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. 😁

Whether you're in a kayak, on a paddleboard, aboard a safety boat, or helping from shore, this is a fantastic opportunity to put your skills and equipment to good use while supporting one of Ottawa's premier summer charity events. 🌟

Best of all, it's only a few hours—volunteer activities run from approximately 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. ⏰ So join us and fellow NSC members for a fun morning of community spirit, teamwork, and waterfront action. 🌊
