The Michael G. DeGroote Pain Clinic team recently attended for an educational session highlighting the benefits of their Intensive Pain Program 🤝
We saw firsthand how impactful this program can be for clients living with chronic pain following an injury. The session was led by program physician Dr. Ramesh Zacharias, alongside Greg Luth, occupational therapist, who shared valuable insights into interdisciplinary pain care.

The program is a 5-week, full-day interdisciplinary program (available in person and virtually), delivering 100 hours of treatment using a biopsychosocial model. It’s one of the few programs in Ontario offering this level of comprehensive care, with access to a full team including physicians, psychologists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, a dietitian, and psychiatry by internal referral.
