What does Christmas mean to you?

It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately! The past while, Christmas has just been a really busy time of the year.
As a Chef with a catering company, I’ve made thousands of pounds of Turkey and feed many families brunch and dinner.

Truthfully, I’ve just wanted to spend the 25th resting in bed.

Now that we’ve got a baby, I feel like everything changes! The holidays are magical for them and I want to be sure to make it special for Kade while minimizing the stress and pressure to ‘do it all’ The holidays should be enjoyable for everyone (or I’m not interested)

So I ask, what Christmas traditions are your absolute favourites? We’re trying to figure out what ours will be as we celebrate for the first time this year.

OMG these pics just keep getting harder and harder to take because Kade does not sit still!

8 teeth, standing on his own for a few seconds at a time, mild obsession with all the kitchen tools and emptying out anything that he can reach in the pantry.

He gives kisses all the time (probably my favourite thing) waves goodbye, gives a high-five and flirts with anyone who will pay attention. He’s singing and dancing and is just a lot of fun overall.
