Harrow Rotary Club

Last night the Rotary Club of Harrow gathered at the home of Ron and Vickie Faubert for our second summer barbeque. We were joined by District Governor Kim Spirou and Assistant Governor Scott Collier. Scott presented our Past President Dave Robertson with his Past President Pin and inducted the new Board of Directors. DG Kim inducted our new President Ron Faubert.
A new member, Peggy McLean was inducted into membership in our club and welcomed by all as the newest Rotarian in the world. A final special presentation was made to Past President Dave Robertson. DG Kim presented Dave with the first “Be a Difference Maker” award - a certificate and a Starfish Pin. This award is presented to one Rotarian in a club who makes an extraordinary difference in a club. A quiet hero of Rotary who does not ask for recognition, who has consistent commitment and gives heartfelt service, someone who is always there, always says “yes”. Congratulations Dave. You definitely embody the spirit of this award. Our club would be less without you!
It was a good night! Our club is ready to serve our community for the 2026-2027 Rotary year!

It was incorrectly reported in the Windsor Star that the Rotary Club of Harrow was hosting a Canada Day celebration in 2026. We are not. Although we had a Canada Day event last year there will not be a similar event this year.
