Foothills Fire Department

Our members, out of our Blackie station, had an incredible morning at the Blackie Canada Day pancake Breakfast, where we were proud to help cook and serve breakfast to over 700 members of our community. From sizzling bacon and sausage to eggs and fluffy pancakes, it was a pleasure to help fuel such a great celebration.

A huge thank you to the Blackie Lions Club for organizing another outstanding event and for everything they do to bring our community together. We also want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate, share a meal, and spend the morning with friends and neighbours.

This weekend, members of Foothills Fire Department took on the Wellspring Firefighter Stairclimb at Brookfield Place, pushing themselves to the top in support of a great cause.

Congratulations to Dylan Alaric, Matt McMullen, Byron Charbonneau, and Jesse Seddon for successfully completing the climb and representing our department with determination and pride.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, friends, family, and donors, our team raised an amazing $4,791 for Wellspring Canada. Your generosity will help provide vital programs and support for individuals and families living with cancer.

We are grateful for everyone who donated, shared our fundraiser, and encouraged our team along the way. This achievement would not have been possible without your support.
