Such a gorgeous dining table setting at this intimate backyard cottage wedding from last summer. I was swooning!
I am such a sucker for all the pretty little things - the little things are the big things, after all (right??). But seriously, I genuinely appreciate the time, energy + investment all of these little things represent, and I therefore appreciate the need for documentation to inspire memories down the road...

I laugh alongside the couple and the guests: I like to listen to the speeches while I watch and photograph. There are almost always some amazingly funny speeches on wedding day. I find so much fun in capturing the reactions. Be sure to do your homework if you plan to speak at a wedding. Not to place undue pressure, but a well rehearsed speech does not go unnoticed!

I LOVE the magic of the first dance on wedding day! I find myself smiling when I edit - I am always particularly fond of noticing the expressions on the guests' faces in the background: love, admiration + genuine happiness for the dancing couple. Throw in a background light + a little iPhone reflection....and voila! Magic.
