Community Partnership in Action!

The Corner Lighthouse was pleased to donate a brand-new Mud Kitchen to Huntsville Public School!

A Mud Kitchen is an outdoor play kitchen that encourages creativity, imagination, and hands-on learning for students in the junior grades. The new kitchen replaces the school’s previous one, which had served many years of play but was beginning to fall apart.

A special thank you to Michael Fox, who built the Mud Kitchen, and to everyone involved in making this project possible.

We are grateful for opportunities like this to support local children and help create engaging spaces where they can learn, play, and grow. ❤️

Most Needed Items This Week

Our food bank is currently in need of the following items:

• Dish Soap
• Cream of Mushroom Soup

💙 Rotary Car Boot Sale 💙

Despite the rain, we had a terrific time at this week’s Rotary Car Boot Sale! 🌧️➡️☀️

There was a wonderful community spirit throughout the morning, with great conversations, shared laughter, and plenty of support for a good cause.

A heartfelt thank you to Restore of Bracebridge for their generous donation of a trailer load of furniture and housewares. Your contribution made a big impact and helped make the event a success.

We are so grateful to everyone who came out, supported, and helped make this event another example of our amazing community coming together.

💙 The Corner Lighthouse Gives Back 💙

Community is all about neighbours helping neighbours.

Andrea Fuller, on behalf of the Stephenson District Lions Club, picked up a Keurig Coffee Maker donated by The Corner Lighthouse for their Silent Auction.

We are grateful for the ongoing support the Stephenson District Lions Club has shown to The Corner Lighthouse Community Hub & Food Bank. Their commitment to strengthening our community helps make a difference in the lives of so many individuals and families.

Darcy Bullock, a member of the Bay Food Crew, presented the monthly donation cheque on behalf of Dairy Lane Dental, Dreams Becoming a Reality, Bullock’s Independent, and Hunter’s Bay Radio. Their continued generosity and commitment to addressing food insecurity help ensure that support is available for those who need it most.

Thank you to all of our community partners, volunteers, donors, and supporters. Together, we are making a meaningful difference and building a stronger, more caring community. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to the Rotary Club of North Muskoka and Pet Valu for their incredible support of our community!

Members of the Rotary Club of North Muskoka once again came together to prepare 190 frozen dinners, helping ensure that individuals and families in our community have access to nutritious, ready-to-enjoy meals when they need them most. This wonderful monthly initiative continues to make a meaningful difference for so many.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Pet Valu for their recent donation of pet food. For many of our members, pets are cherished family members, and your generosity helps ensure they are cared for as well.
