So, it’s been a minute since my last post, actually it's been 643,729 minutes since my last social media post. I’m terrible with algorithms and I don’t undertand trends, but I've missed connecting with all of you through the lens of my camera. Life has been a whirlwind of changes, the biggest one, which most of you may already know - I'm on maternity leave!

Motherhood is a different change of pace, it’s challenging, overwhelming, messy, selfless, and absolutely beautiful. While I love spending all of my free time with my girl, I miss capturing life with the click of my shutter, the art of composition, and the magic of documenting fleeting moments. I haven’t enitrely put my camera down though, this year I’ve had the pleasure of documenting the union of a few incredible couples, families and friends. It’s been hard to turn away the requests I’ve received in the past few months, but my focus this year is taking advantage of the time I’m able to spend with my daughter.

The arrival of our baby has been an incredible experience, one filled with sleepless nights, countless diaper changes, and, of course, endless baby snuggles. There's something profoundly beautiful about capturing these fleeting moments with my camera while also living them with my own family. Those late-night editing sessions with a sleeping baby in my lap have become a cherished part of this journey.

But don't worry, my camera hasn't collected dust. In fact, this past year has been filled with numerous shoots, each one bringing its own unique challenges and rewards. From maternity sessions to newlyweds, I've had the privilege of witnessing the joy and love that families experience during these precious moments. I've learned that the magic of photography lies in its ability to freeze time, allowing us to relive these beautiful memories over and over again.

While on maternity leave, I've had the opportunity to reflect on my photography business and envision what the future holds. I've been meticulously planning new projects, exploring fresh photography styles, and brainstorming ways to provide an even better experience for my clients. This break has allowed me to recharge my creative batteries and gain a renewed sense of inspiration.

So, what can you expect from me in the future? Well, more images of the beautiful Rockies, more heartfelt stories, and more authentic moments frozen in time. I can't wait to share my new projects and adventures with all of you. Your support and encouragement have been a driving force behind my photography journey, and I'm immensely grateful for each and every one of you.

As my maternity leave gradually comes to an end, I'm filled with excitement and anticipation for the new chapter that lies ahead. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey with me. Please stay tuned for more updates (including the opening of my 2024 books!) and the stories that come along with the adventures I’m invited to. Together, we'll continue to capture the beauty of life, one click at a time.

I'd like to give a HUGE shout out to Kinfolk Photography for giving me these photos to forever look back on ❤️.
