Thank you to everyone that has tried to reach out to us since July 22, 2024. As with the rest of our friends, families and colleagues, the guests, staff and families of the Whistler's Inn were all safely evacuated from the devastating wildfire and are safe albeit currently scattered throughout Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan. Sadly, many members of our team, along with our friends and colleagues, have lost their homes and we are not yet sure when we will be able to reunite in Jasper to assess the damage and begin the process of picking up the pieces.

The good news is that we are some of the fortunate ones. The hotel is still standing and will hopefully be able to play a key role in the town's rebuilding process. The bad news is that we cannot access our system and therefore cannot respond or assist with any communications from the night of the evacuation until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your support, patience and understanding as we move forward.

We wish to express our extreme gratitude to all the first responders, firefighters and emergency personnel that continue to work around the clock to protect our home town. We also wish to share our sadness and deepest condolences to all those who lost homes and businesses in the fire. We are all hurting with you and hold you in our hearts as we wait to return and face our challenges together.
