Happy Earth Day to specular Mother Nature and our beautiful planet

A bit of a happy accident… this morning image was shot directly into the sun as it was rising over the mountain in the Desierto Dalí Bolivia and captured the ethereal, starkness of the high desert.

This image is one of my faves of the year. I printed it in a 48x24" gallery box and it looks amazing. Just a hint if you are looking for a Christmas present or a gift for yourself. *see first comment

One of my very favourite things to photograph are trees. They all have their own personalities. Sometimes I imagine a mysterious story with the trees as the main character.
