🌱We keep our CSA small for a reason
We average about 25 members/shares per season. We are a small operation, planting about 1.5 acres of produce in our garden. This helps to keep the connection between us, the Producers, and you, the Consumers, small and closely tied.
🍁 We communicate with our members... A LOT!
Weekly emails are sent out prior to pick up days. In these, members are told what they will be receiving for that week, and are given the chance to 'swap' items or 'top up' if they'd like more of something that we have. On Pick Up Days, a 'Deer Run Times' Newsletter is sent out, with stories of our week on the farm, as well as recipes for members to try out, using the ingredients included in that week.
🍅 We LOVE what we do
We share recipes, stories, successes and trials with our members. We are more than just a 'veggie pick up'. We are a shared experience of the growing season in our little community that we call home!
