Calgary bound and pursuit to help those who help others through creating housing certainty through a social entrepreneurial development strategy.
This kind of work has always gotten me excited as I know that the people who make huge impacts in the lives of people are often under equipped and lack an understanding the real estate world, especially creating housing certainty for those of the are entrusted to help.
Going into the endeavour I have some phenomenal team members that have been really intentional in getting to know each other over the last two years and have built high trust relationships, inside and outside of work with a clear direction of the roll each of us play so we can all be doing the things that we do best, while having a confidence to know that everyone else is in there zone of excellence and executing at the highest level.
The coolest thing is that this solution can be perpetual and 100% self sustainable for decades. Turns out entreprenial minded people can do things faster, more sustainable and hit cost metrics better than Governments & big committees 😉

Holding back on exciting things is hard, especially in real estate development. The key is having wise people around you who hold you accountable for your actions and time.
Here’s how I guard my time and energy outputs so I can lead, elevate others, and continuously win, work, build relationships, innovate, and execute on construction sites.
I don’t give out my actual cell number to 99% of people; I use software to handle inbound calls and texts.
I block off my calendar between eight and noon every day.
I have 1.5 hours of revenue-producing work every single day between 10 and 11:30.
I reward myself for keeping to my schedule by going out to lunch or coffee with a client or a friend, and then return any inbound calls, emails, or texts that came in in the morning.
But the biggest reward is having the time margin in my day to show up physically in the lives of the people that I love most, whether that means driving for hours, flying, extending trips, or whatever it takes to show up for the people in my life who mean the most to me. If you’ve ever wondered where the drive comes from or why I’m so overly committed to progress that it might seem like I’m a workaholic, the reality is that living a mindfully unbalanced life when it comes to work allows me to create an environment where others feel seen, heard, loved, and appreciated, whereas a balanced life just never would allow me to do that and never did until I was able to embrace this concept of a consciously imbalanced life and schedule.
Maybe embracing this mentality will make the difference in your relationships because it always comes in seasons of extreme workloads followed by weeks of downtime to thoroughly enjoy afternoon coffees with my friends, lunch with my mom, or a surprise flight to a wedding for 24 hours in Toronto.
Balance is not what we’ve been led to believe it is in my experience, and maybe that’s yours too.
